it's been a while i know.

Out of my bondage sorrow and night,
Jesus, I come, Jesus I come.
Into Thy freedom, gladness and light
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of my sickness into Thy health,
Out of my want and into Thy wealth,
Out of my sin and into Thy-self
Jesus I come to Thee.

Out of my shameful failure and loss,
Jesus I come, Jesus I come;
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of earth's sorrows into Thy balm,
Out of life's storms and into Thy calm,
Out of distress to jubilant psalm,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of unrest and arrogant pride,
Jesus, I come, Jesus I come;
Into Thy blessed will to abide,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of myself to dwell in Thy love
Out of despair into raptures above,
Upward for aye on the wings like a dove,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of the fear and dread of the tomb,
Jesus, I come, Jesus I come;
Into the joy and light of Thy home,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of the depths of ruin untold,
Into the peace of Thy sheltering fold,
Ever Thy glorious face to behold,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

I know, I know...it has been far too long since I last posted. I am not really into this whole blog thing, really. I just love words and I love communicating and this little blog fulfills that place for me:)

This song has ministered to my heart so much lately. I have been struggling so much to manage everything in life. Life seems to demand so much...too much at some points. Life is chaotic and it is so draining-sometimes more often than I'd like. It is far easier to never take the time to slow down because then we really feel the drain. If I take the time, though, to just go to Him and slow down...my perspective really changes. Nothing gets easier necessarily and nothing magically changes-but my perspective changes. With a changed perspective, I am more able to walk in freedom. My eyes are opened to wonders anew and to all the places that Jesus is.

So, may you go and let your perspective change. No matter what is on our hearts, our minds, or throughout our entire beings-rest in the knowledge that there is great freedom from our bondage, shameful failure and loss, our uneasiness and pride, and our fear of the tomb. We have so many great things to walk into and so many great things to gain when we come to Jesus.

That's all for now.
Anna
